Paper Crane Tidbits

I loved making these origami paper cranes when I was a child. I was taught by Japanese friend of the family when we were stationed in Japan. It's a small, calming, creative action, taking a piece of paper and transforming it into something else.

Meals at the Crawford Peace House. Volunteers mobilized to feed the crowds of people coming from cities in states across the nation. It was amazing to see the transformation and impressed on me just how much America Does Care.
